Leadership coaching. Change how you lead by changing what drives it.

You've read the books and been on the courses. You know what good leadership looks like. But under pressure you default to the same moves: you step in, take over, avoid the hard conversation or have it badly. Your team adapts to you, and then you wonder why nobody steps up. I work on the patterns behind how you lead, so the change shows up in the room, not just in your intentions.

Sound familiar?

If this is you, you're in the right place.

  • "My team waits to be told. Then I wonder why nobody steps up."

  • "I avoid the difficult conversation until it becomes a crisis."

  • "I'm the bottleneck and I know it."

  • "I lead well when it's calm. Under pressure I revert."

What's actually going on

Your team is responding to a pattern, not a policy.

Leadership style isn't chosen. Most of it is learned early and runs automatically. The leader who rescues every problem was often the child who had to hold things together. The one who avoids conflict learned that conflict wasn't safe. These patterns served a purpose once. In a leadership role, they shape the whole team.

That's why leadership training often doesn't stick. It teaches the right behaviour to the thinking mind, while the automatic response carries on underneath. Change the pattern and the behaviour follows without forcing it.

How I work on it

Practical where it can be. Deeper where it needs to be.

We work on real situations: the meeting next week, the person you're struggling to manage, the decision you've been putting off. Alongside that, I use behavioural analysis to find the pattern driving how you respond, and clinical hypnotherapy to change it where it lives.

The first session is two hours and builds a clear picture of how you lead under pressure and why. From there, one-hour sessions, in person near Maidstone or online.

The patterns I see most

Which one sounds like you?

  • The rescuer. You step in before anyone else can, then resent carrying everything.
  • The avoider. You keep the peace and let problems grow until they can't be ignored.
  • The controller. You delegate the task but not the decision, so nothing moves without you.
  • The perfectionist. Nothing is good enough to sign off, so your team stops trying to get it right.
  • The reactor. You're calm until you're not, and the team plans around your moods.

Most leaders recognise more than one. Each has a root, and each can change.

What people ask first.

What does leadership coaching with you cover?

How you lead under pressure, delegate, handle conflict and make decisions, and the patterns that keep pulling you back to old habits. I work on the person leading, not on business strategy.

Is this just for senior leaders?

No. I work with founders, directors and managers at every level. What matters is that how you lead is costing you or your team more than it should.

Can my company pay?

Yes. I can invoice your company directly. What we discuss stays between us unless you choose to share it.

How many sessions will I need?

Usually fewer than people expect. Many notice a real shift within a handful of sessions. After the first session I'll tell you honestly what the work involves.
